For the record I don't know that AU Eagles guy but I'm certain he was making a joke about a tired subject here on OFC. *Our baby Rays have four solid pitchers who are very close in velocity, but none throwing in the ranges mentioned in this thread. *Just want it known that no one from our org is making this ridiculous claim. *

This is just a suggestion. Everyone keeps mentioning requirements for kids sports. I have one I would like to see put in place. When the day comes you as a parent and your dd decide that pitching is what she wants to do, At that very moment you as the parent have to be seen by your family doctor and given mandatory medication to stop these hallucinations. You are required under the supervision by law to take your meds. Anyone found not taking said meds and posting that 10u,s are hitting 60 mph and found that said pitcher cant do it will be taken and deposited on the island of the insane. Mainly inhabited by 10 to 14 u pitchers dads. Just a suggestion.

Oh by the way I forgot to mention be on the look out for one of my hitting students this summer shes a 10u and can hit the ball 300 foot and has a bat speed in excess of 79 mph.

Tim

You just haven't had enough Cool-Aid, Tim. When MY DD was 12, not only were her pitches well over 70 mph, she could make the ball change colors. ...or wait, maybe those were the days I forgot my meds?? Here... have another drink... you'll come around.

The rays may not be bragging but they have earned the right, everyone else stops in their tracks to watch those future stars...... I watched one pitching and I 'm thinking the older girls should take notes!

A good way to judge who throws hard is when the girls say oh no we have to bat against her..lol that's more accurate then any gun..

Has anyone seriously ever seen a 10u throw 60mph? I know I haven't. I saw alot of 12u pitchers last year, there may have been 1 or 2 that were approaching 60.

I heard that Bugtussle and Buzzard Holler Hooters have 10U teams this year. Alot of history and good gene pools for these two teams. You know one of these two teams will have a girl or two throwing over sixty.

There are no 10u's throwing 60 and anyone who tells you differently is full of it. I had a 12u girl and her parents tell me she threw 85.....yes, I said 85.
