First if any of you are vets or have family in the service, the highest thank you.

Second, I would not consider myself a liberal or conservative, just an American who is fed up with all the faulty leadership this country has been subject to over the last several presidential terms. It's not about parties, it's about leaders who are responsible and who will do the right thing for all of us.

It is just unfortunate that our leadership has ask our service men and women to occupy a country on false information and engage in a conflict that will bankrupt us with no definition of victory. If you buy into the overused Bush matra that we must fight them there so that we don't have to fight them here. Please. What are they going to do fly over on their magic carpets? Terrorism is a world police issue not subject of war.

We have sold out our infrastructure and are not capable of financially continuing down this course. As long as we are engaged we will slowly bleed out. There has been war in that region for all time, what would make anyone believe our input would end that type of conflict. I learned as a young boy on the farm that you don't hit a beehive with a stick:(

GWOC... ?Many, Many good points. ? It amazes me that people don't remember Whitewater and all the lives ruinned by the Clintons and their partners in crime. ?How about the more recent (couple years back) theft of documents from the national archieves by Sandy Berger (Clintons National Security Advisor). ?This coupled with the various other points raised in this thread are enough to give me nightmares of Hillary being elected.

May God keep all those who serve, both uniformed and civilian, safe from harm.

GW THANK YOU AND THANK YOUR SON AND HIS BUDDIES! I PRAY THEY ALL COME HOME SAFE! The beginning of this thread was making me gag on my Doritos. I cant believe people still like Hillary. Herself and her husband have proven time and again that even among politicians they're untrustworthy. I completely agree about congress and the senate what garbage.

did anyone watch the documentary on frontline mon & tues? the flat out lies cheney, rumsfeld and libby told should put all of them in jail, at least for 4000 days for every life lost in a war with a country that had nothing to do with 9/11.. i have great respect for those who chose to join the armed services and i salute them.. every time i see the war reporting i think of vietnam..

Thank you for the Kudos, the Votes, and the vote of confidence...

However, at this time I respectfully decline the nomination. ?I can't miss my daughter's Senior Season and her College Career.

I will, however, cast my lot with Senator McCain and advise him accordingly to represent the conservative views of the Ohio Fast Pitch Connection.

I ask that all conservatives, independents, Republicans, Libertarians, and even disgusted Democrats (and you will be when Hillary finally steals the nomination from her Junior Opponent - and he won't know what hit him) join with me in November to make this country as strong as we were in the 1980's.

Pushing McCain further right.

Vote for the Country Our Forefathers Envisioned
No Socialism, No Marxism
Freedom and Independence.

Socialized Health Care? ?No way. ?I still want the Federal Income tax witholding to be ruled illegal. ?Let everyone write a check to the fed. each year for income taxes so they see and feel the pain. ?And social security? ?Please, let's keep the govt. limited to national defense and interstate highways.

It's sad when you can tell which side of an issue a stations news program is on. :( I miss the days when they reported the news without taking sides and had a commentator give his opinion. Or hers I probably didn't appreciate Dorothy Fuldheim as much as I should have.

Amen!! I have a huge problem for voting for a Senator. They don't do anything, but vote on issues or don't vote so it can't be held against them at election time. I would agree with the majority of posts. There really isn't a great canidate, but out of the three McCain is the best. He is a little more liberal than I would like, but he is not a socialist like the other two.
