Re: Who would you vote for TODAY.. Off topic - duh
First if any of you are vets or have family in the service, the highest thank you.
Second, I would not consider myself a liberal or conservative, just an American who is fed up with all the faulty leadership this country has been subject to over the last several presidential terms. It's not about parties, it's about leaders who are responsible and who will do the right thing for all of us.
It is just unfortunate that our leadership has ask our service men and women to occupy a country on false information and engage in a conflict that will bankrupt us with no definition of victory. If you buy into the overused Bush matra that we must fight them there so that we don't have to fight them here. Please. What are they going to do fly over on their magic carpets? Terrorism is a world police issue not subject of war.
We have sold out our infrastructure and are not capable of financially continuing down this course. As long as we are engaged we will slowly bleed out. There has been war in that region for all time, what would make anyone believe our input would end that type of conflict. I learned as a young boy on the farm that you don't hit a beehive with a stick
