Poden is my hero...there are some people out there, who only fear public humiliation. Others just do what is right, even when no one is looking. For the small amount that just aren't going to do what is right, their only fear is getting caught and what others will think. If you haven't met someone like that, consider yourself lucky. I'm not trying to disagree, but I whole heartily understand. I'm shocked he wrote so much, it must have been hard for him.
Plus, let's not make the victim, the bad guy. Something wrong happened, don't beat him up for his reaction. Most people would have a "bad reaction" or seek revenge, if their own child was hurt.
I am not sure OFC is the place to have this type of dialogue and not sure the narrative is productive at all (the OP). I get your point about morality and doing what is right, especially when it comes to fiduciary responsibility. So I do agree with your position. Where I have concerns is how is productive to post so much ambiguity and expect to foster change? I am pretty sure there is two sides to every story so I am NOT taking a position. I would like to see less "cloak and dagger accusations". I would like to think if the person referenced in the post can not defend themselves how is it productive for everyone to speculate? I absolute agree if its a bad situation call it out, but if you don't name the program its just a free for all of nonsense and speculative droll.
BTW anyone watch the Michigan/NC State game? it was a clinic..
