Why does organizations bash on former coaches!!!!

Why would a "respectably" and I use that term lightly, send e-mails to other organizations about a former coach. This could come back to haunt them LEGALLY, just because they might not agree with the coaches style does not give them the right to bash a coach. They are just hurting the KIDS.
I hope they feel good about this cause I am VERY upset.

If one organization is emailing another about a former coach....... sounds like a personal axe to grind. And if this is the case, then no, these people are not about the kids. They must be all about themselves!! This sport has no room for this kind of action. Takes all the fun outta a great thing!!

Keep the game playing on the field where it belongs, with the girls!!!!!

I have noticed that a lot of times. I have also witnessed coaches within an organization bashing other coaches in the same organization!! In my opinion... sometimes there is more politics being played than ball! Our daughters started playing travel softball for the love of the game and wanted to be coached beyond what we could teach at home. We have worked very hard to teach our young ladies good communication, respect, and pleasant attitude are good values to have. I only wish more coaches and parents would do the same for themselves and their children.

My mother always taught me....If you can't say something nice about someone, then don't say anything at all. It's not always easy taking the high road and be the better person, but in the long run YOU ARE THE BETTER PERSON and you have taught your children an important lesson by example!!!

Another way to look at this is...If the organization bad mouthing the former coach has a legit reason to warn other organizations then I think its good. In fact more organizations need to speak up and say when somebody is out of line in their opinion.

If this is the case, then organizations need to have a "resume" from coaches so they can contact the former teams that coach has coached for. It can be done in a professional manner....with DISCRETION!!

this is not the case. as a coach I had no choice on tournaments for my girls to go to. As a team we asked not to go to 2 certain tournaments and anyone wanna guess what the first 2 we were entered in where. Also had a player come aboard in May paid her dues of 700 dollars and still as of Friday did not have sweats, sweat shirt, or practice jersey. My only downfall was caring for my kids. I have coached for OVER 15 years and this was by FAR the worst experience of my career. So now let the opinions be formed.....
