WolfPack rally from extra innings loss to shutout Triton

MADISON, WISC. - Friday's Region 4 softball doubleheader at Robert D. Goodman Softball Field saw Madison College suffer a heartbreaking loss in extra innings, and rebound for a run-ruled shortened victory in the finale. The Trojans overcame a late WolfPack rally to win the first game by a 4-3 final in nine innings, and freshman Kendall Weik threw a one-hit shutout as part of an 8-0 victory that featured a five-run sixth inning to end the game. Madison College leads the all-time series by a 28-17 tally.
