WolfPack takes opener in home split with Waubonsee

MADISON, WISC. - The Madison College softball team split a home Region 4 doubleheader on Saturday against Waubonsee Community College as they won the opener 11-3 in six innings before falling 4-3 to the Chiefs in the second game at Robert D. Goodman Softball Field. Freshman Brooke Anderson led the charge in game one with a career-best four hits, while the loss in the second game snapped a five-game winning streak. The WolfPack is 18-14 all-time against WCC.
