Anyone having issues with this bat breaking? Sent ours back for replacement already for some rattling and the end cap has a gap.

A girl on our team bought one at a tournament on a Saturday. Sunday, hit her 1st HR with it. It cracked, but she thought it was just the paint. Later that game, hit her 2nd HR and it split. Vendor took it back after the game and replaced it. A week or two later, the end cap on the new one was coming off. Vendor took it back and gave her a new bat from a different maker. I say the 2Legit is junk.

My DD has swung one all season. No issues yet, but I have heard similar stories. She absolutely loves the bat though.

Girl on our team has one had it since march and knob is loose and it has a rattle in it. She does not use it for bp or pregame only games and she does not even use it all the time she swings her cf7 hope sometimes but the worth is hot I will say that.

Bought original bat in April 2014. 64 days later, end cap broke off. Worth was excellent in replacing the bat. Once a photo and a copy of my receipt was emailed to them, they issued a FEDEX shipping label. As soon as they saw the old bat in transit, they shipped the replacement bat. It was tournament season, they shipped it directly to our hotel. 7 days later, bat broke again (end cap broke off) ........ went through the same process. The replacement bat was shipped in time for PGF Nationals. We were told that Worth will honor their warranty for one year from the original date of purchase. I have watched 8 of the bats fail exactly the same way. I made a point to ask anyone I saw carrying it and asked if the bat had failed, everyone said "yes". I was told that the latest bat we received should not fail. The correction has been made. I did talk to a factory rep at PGF Nationals and he stated that there was a bad batch of bats that had gone out and that the problem should be resolved. He had a demo bat which was cut in half and explained the fix.

My dd broke a school record for HR's and is in the OHSAA record books (does not appear that her name has been added yet) with this bat. I know a proper swing will make any bat look good but she loves the way the 2-Legit swings and feels. Anyone who knows me knows that I preach the "Buy American" word and will continue to give Worth a chance so long as they live up to the warranty. I hope engineering has made the correction. I will buy another 2-Legit if so.

Purchased the first one, and 34 days later, it cracked at the connector piece, sent it back and got a replacement with full warranty. That one lasted 39 days and the endcap flew off. That one went back, and am now in the process of getting our $$ back. DD said She is sticking with Easton because we have never had a problem with them.

The one we bought was a 2015 2Legit. We bought it in May and gave it to her in July for her birthday. The lady on the phone said they would have to check with corporate to see if they would still honor the refund. I know how my luck is though so I would assume that they will send back another bat and we will have to go through this process until next may when it won't be replaced and we will be stuck with a broken bat.

That is the process I am going through right now. The corporate contact is out of the office until Monday the 4th, so I will update when I get ahold of him. They have had my bat for just over a week.

Nick - we were not given the option of a refund, only continuous replacement bat until the 1 year anniversary of the original purchase. Good Luck!

George,

I told them straight up that this was unacceptable, and that I would accept nothing but a refund, so they sent me straight to corporate. I'm not dealing with sending a bat back every 30-40 days. We will see what they say. Worst case, I'll have a new one in the wrapper for sale with full warranty I guess.

I was thinking the same thing. Get a new one, list it on ebay or craigs list. Take a little loss and be done with it.

Yeah these bats break very easily. I know a college team that is sponsored by Worth that used them all season, led the NCAA in batting average this season, they loved the bat, but it broke a lot. Now they have these bats laying around their stadium like they are candy so for them to break one is not a big deal, they just go unwrap another. They were told that Worth has fixed the problem. Good luck, I can see how this could be a headache to keep having to return a bat every 30-40 days.

If you were to buy one of these, how would you know if it was a pre or post "fix" bat?

I thought that the bat they send back to you is stamped "NO WARRANTY" ?
