STATE COACHES POLL INFORMATION



COACHES:

1. Poll voters are listed on the OHSFSCA Web Site.

2. Call, Fax or Email information about your team to the 12 poll voters in your division on or by Friday of each week.

3. Forms to use in faxing information to your poll voters can be downloaded from the web site.

4. Dates that you should get this information to the voters:

5. Only send information to the poll voters for teams in your division.

6. The results will be one week behind the actual games played when they appear in the newspaper.

7. If you local paper does not publish the POLL, call your paper to find out why.

So you could be undefeated and noone would know if you didnt do this? Makes the polls sound skewed...

I believe so, the main thing is do all of the AD's know the process and make sure they pass the information along to the coaches. I think there are a lot of good teams which don't get mentioned. I am not taking anything away from the teams who are ranked, it just seems like the system is not communicated well to all of the teams and coaches across the state.

Don't get too caught up in the polls, in the end only 1 team is left standing. If you win the last game of the season, you met your goal. Probably 1/3 of the first week teams won't even be listed at the end of the year

Yep that is all that matters, there are going to be at the end of the year 4 #1 ranked teams, one in each division and nothing can skew that.
