Pitching question

I am new to softball, I have been coaching baseball for years. In baseball if a player catches so many innings then they cannot pitch in the same game and vice versa. Is there a rule in softball that puts guidelines on this? My daughter is a catcher and wants to pitch ad well, can she do both in same game?

Yes, No rules regarding pitching or catching time -

There are some rec leagues that limit things like this but none of the travel sanctioning bodies

Must be a tough kid to want to do both - That's a tough job...

Thanks, she is a tough little 8 yr old, in her second year of travel.
