Two more games today
Northmont 6
Central Hardin KY 7
Pretty tough game for Northmont. This game went back in forth. We did not throw are starter this game. This team had a very solid team. Very good 1-4 batters. We were winning going into the sixth then we gave up 3 runs to loose the game.

Bullit East KY 3
F/5 Innings run rule
Very good game for Northmont. We gave up all are runs in the first inning. There was a bunch of rain that inning then it calmed down and are players calmed down. Started hitting the ball real well. Jess Clutter pitched a solid five innings shut them down the rest of the game after the first. Defense did a very good job also. This team was a very good hitting team but had not much pitching or defense.
Northmonts record is now 3 wins and 1 loss
The teams we have played down here have all been really good better than I expected especially Louiville Eastern. They were an awsome team. We've got two more games in florida then back to good old ohio.

Yes Bethany pitched today against Central Hardin for three innings. She did ok for her first outing. They were a pretty good team especially there 1-4 batters. She pitched 3 innings giving up 4 runs 3 or 4 earned she did ok kept us in the game. Jordan Spargo came in after her and pitched she got the loss.

Well last thursday Northmont's double header down in florida got rained out so that was pretty disapointing. After watching the 4 games down there I think are team will be just as good as last years team. We have improved are speed and defense. We have a very good pitching staff in starter Jess Clutter, Jordan spargo, and Bethany Fisher. Some other players that need to be mentioned that were very good down in florida are Sophomore CF Erin Lander and Senior RF Katy Lachey they have really hit the ball hard this year. It looks like todays game against fairborn and Tuesdays game against Greenville could be rain out hopefully we will be able to play fairmont on Thursday. Hopefully they can get the gwoc website up to date. So we could see some statistics.

Curious as to what everyone is predicting with a week or so under everyones belts in the GWOC.......saw what everyone thought prior to week one.....any major changes in projections?

Well its tough to say just one week in but here are a few observations on the GWOC.
- Centerville looks pretty good so far
- Lebanon has had a rough start but they have played a few tough teams.
- Northmont has not played up north yet so we will know more in the next week as they play teams that we know something about.
- Troy is going to have a looooong season.
- Fairmont off to a good start at 4-0 but seriously CJ, Troy, and Xenia for 2. Maybe we will know more when they play a few teams that will have more then 4 wins this season.
- Butler 3 losses vs. tough teams and they play a solid schedule. Come tournament time they will be ready and a handful.
- Miamisburg is off to a nice start. Should challenge Lebanon for the south title, no one else will be close there.
The others I have not seen yet so its hard to comment.

fairmont plays northmont on thursday should be a good game. I would agree ben with you. would add that beavercreek will have a tough season. Sidney from the scores look to be off to a pretty good start.

Centerville plays Lebanon tonite, or they are supposed to! Being the only team to get a hit off Fisherback to date, Centerville ought to bring a game to Lebanon and Lebanon I am sure is ready to get out there and recover from the perfect game Fisherback threw against them Saturday! Ought to be a great game....

OUTCASTfastpitch that will be one of the best games around in the SW part of the state for sure today. Big oppertunity for Centerville to make a statement early in the season.

Its a long season yet , might be some surprises, I would say youll have a pretty good idea of how things could shape up after the end of next week, once confence play goes into full swing.

What an exciting game in Miamisburg.....Sydney took a 2-1 lead late in the game with Miamisburg coming back to tie then on to win it 3-2 in extra innings.....was a fun game to watch!

I got to watch one of the best match ups in south west Ohio last night..... Bethany Cambelll VS Brittany Duncan........ It is amazing to watch these two go at it, the respect that they have for the others athletic ability, the way they push one another, and their competitivness (sp) against one another is so exciting to watch. Win or loss aside, just watching this match up alone is worth the price of admission to a game.(and yes i know there is no admission)......... Great job you two
