Buckeye Heat '95 goes 3-2 in pool play. Wins over Hot Sox, Marion Merchants Black, and Hurricanes Red. Losses to Buckeye Elite and Miami County Blaze. All five opponents gave us quality games. And to think that a month ago I was worried about the depth of the draw!

Should be some good ball tomorrow as well. I think the Classics were showing their usual good stuff today (including a comeback from being down 8-0).

Ohio Hurricanes Red (Tri-County Hurricanes) go 3-2 in pool play yesterday. Wins over Hot Sox (Byrne), Marion Merchants Black and Ohio Missfits. Loss to Buckeye Heat and Classics.

Today win over Buckeye Heat 95' and moving on to Play Hot Sox (Bondra) in semi's

Congrats to the Hurricanes Red. I think their only defensive lapse was a wild pitch!

Thanks CGS...Heard it was a good game both yesterday and today. I was not there (son is playing tournament now-BORING compared to fastpitch) but everyone said what a class A org you guys are. Hope to see you again. Hurricane Red just defeated Hot Sox Bondra and will play in championship now...not sure who we will see. I'm thinking Classics.

Hurricanes and Classics both in the final. Both teams winning their sides of the brackets. Classics 8 -0 for the weekend. Hurricanes very well coached and a team who will take advantage of opportunites as I saw in our first game Saturday morning. Congrats to both teams in the finals. Way to get a lot of ball in for the weekend!!!!

Also, Lasers thanks for a nice weekend. Games were on time and fields taken care of inbetween games. Also, no rain!!! Might be a few gripes on the parking fee but split it between 2 days and it's wasn't that bad. I hope you host this tournament again next year If Brian is unable to.

Congrats to the Classics! My husband (coach of Hurricane red) says your team was very "classy" and well deserving of the championship! Well run organization! Wish I could have seen the games. Hope to see you again!

overall a good tournament only complaints, yea the parking fee,and the lines for the restrooms/porta jons, and maybe 5 games in 1 day but its our first year in travel.

I'll take a 5$ parking fee any day. If you have at least two people in your car, it's less than a per person fee. Wait till you go to a place like Compuware and it's $30 per person for the weekend!!

Agree wgman, I paid $20 for wife and I to watch dd play in a tournament this year, I got to witness her first over the wall HR, and the value of that. Priceless!!! Parking fee will always be cheaper than per person admission fee. RV has a beautiful complex and you dont fix or improve any complexes for free!
