I do not have the actual score of other games but there were many good games today. ?I can tell you that the game of the day tomorrow will be at 8:30 between the Buckeye Heat Clark and the Tri County Hurricanes Blue (they are in the same pool). ?The winner of that game will probably win the tournament and the loser can finish no higher than 3rd. ?That is just my opinion and not meant to be a slight to anyone.

I am very impressed with the Hurricanes Blue. ?They can beat any team we have played to date. ?They hit well and their pitching is excellent. ?This is the type of game that you seek to play.

Hi Johnnies. Thanks for the update on your pool. From My pool, Lake Erie Diamond Chix and Marion Diamonds both seem strong and very nice progams.

My team has been battling the flu (4 Players). Not sure if it was something we all got and passed around from Toledo the weekend prior. My kid has been down since Tuesday night. the others were actually sick today. They cannot hold down anything even water. We actually started one game with 9 to make it official and then were quickly down to 8. Probably the water or something while in Toledo. Hmmm

The 8-u Lasers won the 8-u over the Lake Erie Diamond Chix 11 to 5 after losing to them by 1 in pool play.
Way to go crazy eights.

maybe the Maumee river had something to do with it...i have family in toledo, and THEY don't even drink the water!... :-/

The Hurricane Blue and the Marion Diamonds were playing for 3rd and 4th when I left. ?If anyone has their final score, please let us know.

(I had to go home so I could call my father and wish him a Happy Fathers Day)

A big thanks the the Rebellion crew for a great tournament. ?This is one of the hardest working crews I have ever seen and it translates into a GREAT tournament. ?Yoiu have my vote for one of Ohio's best run tournament.

The Hurricanes Blue beat the Marion Diamonds and took 3rd place in 12U. ?I believe the final score was 9-0.

In the 18u the HoO Heartbreakers beat the Ohio Danger 3-2 scoring 2 runs in the bottom of the 7th with 2 outs. It was a very well played game. I believe the Heartbreakers went 6-o on the weekend and the Danger was 5-1.

One of the buzz in the Rebellion tournament on Saturday was the anticipated 12U game between the Buckeye Heat and the Hurricane Blue. I over heard umpires, tournament staff and other coaches talking about this upcoming game and they anticipated a great game. There must have been 75-100 people watching this game at times. I was able to see part of the game - (my DD team was on an adjacent field). It was a great game, close for several inning and then the Buckeye Heat exploded. I found out by checking the computuer at the pavillion (a great service offered by this venue) that the Buckeye Heat run ruled every team they played and there were very good teams in this tournament. A very impressive feat.

I have seen the 12U Buckeye Heat twice this year. They were good in the first tournament but now they seem to be playing with a devastating vengence. This is one of the most complete 12U teams I have seen.

I have got to agree with everyone else, field cond. EXCELLENT, good food and parking lot watered all day long!! And the 4 or 5 computers set up to check scores tops it off!! Great job to everyone involved in this tournament!!!
