Lasers White lost 3-2 to East Cobb Bullets. Lasers were down 1-0 in 6th when they scored on a first-third steal when Bullets decided to throw through to second with one out. Pyles then hit a two-out solo HR in 7th to put Lasers up 2-1. Bullets had runner on second and two outs in bottom of seventh when single to left-center tied it, with the batter moving to second on the throw to home. An infield single/error (whichever) put them at first and third and then a wild pitch/passed ball gave the Bullets the 3-2 win.

Of the three East Cobb Bullets teams here, I'm pretty sure this was the best one. This game had Oklahoma, Arkansas, North Carolina, Georgia Tech, Northwestern, etc, etc, etc, watching.

I heard the Classics Black just lost, but don't know any details.

If any Indiana fans are on here, Indiana Gators lost to the Washington Sidewinders 3-0 in a game for a #1 seed.

As I pointed out here or on the Huddle a while back, one team to watch for besides obvious ones like the OC Batbusters is the NW Blaze from Oregon. They won two games, I think both by run rule, in pool play. When I watch this team, they look like adults playing against 16-year-olds. I hope somehow one of our Ohio teams plays them so I can get a good comparison of what a top Ohio team looks like against what appears to me to be one of the top 16-U teams in the country.

Miami Valley Express lost 4-0 to a SoCal team. OFC Orange lost their second game and the Nightmare lost to the Corona Angels. I think the Laser Orange lost in extra innings. No word on Valley Extreme Blue. Awaiting the elimination draw now...........

Tough loss Laser White - Nice job Dakota! 2 out Home run over the fence is awesome. I am glad you have many college scouts taking a look at your team and good to hear that you guys are playing well! Keep up the good fight....don't stop!

Keep it up Ohio......

Amazingly, they haven't updated scores on the website from 2 p.m. forward and there is apparently no way to obtain the double elimination brackets online. I have no idea who is playing at what time in the morning.

For an ASA Nationals to not be updated online is incredible. They have an evaluation form for college coaches. On some of the things, they are doing just fine, but on updates and just keeping coaches informed, not well at all.

For an ASA Nationals, the bracket boards at the tournament site should be updated within 3 minutes of the end of each game, and the online brackets within 15 minutes of each game. The double elimination brackets should have been continuosly updated online as the draw was taking place. Simply have a person with a laptop at the drawing. This stuff is not hard with just a little bit of planning.

Just returned from the drawing. What a mess. Teams are finding out at Midnight that they play at 8am. Lasers Mojo/White play Chi Town Express Silver at 6pm at Harmodon Park. They say website will be loaded up soon.

There is no reson that drawing should have taken more than 30 minutes. This stuff really isn't hard. The brackets are already done and teams could be written down on pieces of paper as #1 through #4 seeds as games were finishing all day and have four separate buckets. Then simply start drawing soon after the last game ends and placing teams in the brackets.

I can't even begin to imagine why it would have taken several hours. It's just incomprehensible to me that tournaments (especially ASA Nationals) don't have at least one person who is competent when it comes to this stuff.

They are finally on the website. Great, two teams I'm really interested in play at 8, and it's 1:15 now. I'm going to try to drag myself out of bed, but I'm on Pacific Time and 8 a.m. is really 6 a.m.!

If the Nightmare win tomorrow, they have a likely matchup with the NW Blaze (Oregon) on Thursday. I can't miss that if it happens.
