I'd like to suggest a poll for best concession food item. I know there is a cult following for walking tacos. But the best thing I've ever had is the hot shredded chicken sandich at Faben Park in Huron.
So how how about the best original concession food?

that walking taco is well recommended, and it's not because i didnt pay (i did pay for the 2nd, 3rd and 4th anyhow)
i miss the jaleps on burgers at teays valley tourney
was it stingrays that had a chicken finger basket? or was that berliner? hmmmm
did anyone catch the Classic's pasta bar last year at findlay? best ever!

It was two years ago and I still like Mrs. Bob Darden's chicken sandwich. Absolutely the best chicken sandwich I have ever eaten in all my 51 years. She "doctors-up" the chicken breast and it is heavenly.

Best cheesy fries - Sluggerfest in Cincy
Best shredded chicken sandwich - Baseburner tourny in Portsmouth
Best walking taco - Zanesville tournaments
Best brauts - CYO complex in Toledo

Hi Quake, yeah, I banded together with a couple of other pitcher's dads and dds to get some Ripits, should be coming in this coming week.
Just in time, I think, Marie let slip the dd's advanced enough she's going to start teaching her a new pitch.

Oh, yeah, it's a turnover drop. Marie said dads just love catching this one. My wife asked if I wanted to start wearing steel-toed shoes. I can only hope the dd is as coachable as Marie says she is.

YES, I WILL TAKE ANY/ALL FAN POLL SUGGESTIONS and instead of the BEST CONCESSION food playing out here, let's save that for NEXT WEEKS POLL and then maybe TDs can take OFCs recommendations to include our TOP FOODS at Tournaments in 2010.

AND YES, I updated my avitar for those OFCers that love creating gapers blocks when passing by a car wreck. Figure I can get a few nominees from these folks that love the tragic things in life...lol

NO DOUBT!

We had to blame our Friday night loss 2 years ago, 1-0 to Scioto County over static black, due to each of our team members eating a basket each of those dang cheese fries between rain delays, in which come game time, we couldn't run as if Cheese was stuck to our cleats. Pretty sure Kavin & ManitouDan remember this game, as MDs kid was the only player that ran the bases like the field was dry.... What the heck kind of spikes was she wearing..? lol.

Don't know about the concession food but we did stop at The Weenee Hut in Sandusky when playing at Dawg Daze in Huron. I don't know what was better, the Island dog or the jokes and innuendos...
