:( My Daughter is a former GFOD team member, as a matter of fact our former team is still together and playing under the name "Thunder". It is with great sadness that I report today that Tim Galligher, former owner and Coach and most of all Friend has passed away this morning. We ask that only respectful comments and rememberances follow. We do not know all the details and will pass along any news that we can when we find out. We ask all former GFOD teams, coaches, and softball friends try to pay their respects to Tim's girls and family, God Bless and Rest In Peace.

Oh no . . . we loved playing at Galligher's Fields of Dreams and were so disappointed when it was sold. It was a great place for Central Ohio softball. I am shocked and saddened to hear of Tim's death. May his family find comfort in the contribution that he made to so many girls through GFOD. Please let us know regarding services and contributions.

Deepest condolences to Tim's family from the Breakers organizations. Tim was a super guy and I have many fond memories of the GFOD. Sad day for the NEO softball community.

Sad to hear that. Tim was our Freshman high school coach and we coached together when our varsity team went to the state finals. We had a bunch of fun together and went in early a few times to help him get the fields ready at GFOD. My dd started with GFOD at 8. That was her first travel ball teams. Sad to hear that and Sympathy to his family.

My DDs first travel team was with the GFOD Thunder and Tim as the coach. When I heard this earlier today I was, and still am at a loss for words. Tim you will be truly missed by anyone who had the chance to be touched by your generosity, kindness and warming smile.

Paige and Court...you had a wonderful father that loved his two fastpitch playing DD's more than life itself and we all share in your pain. Have comfort in knowing how much your father meant to all of us, and how your GFOD family will be here to strongly support you in your time of loss!!

We will miss you Tim!!

This is a shock. He was a good person and a fantastic supporter of fastpitch softball. Some of my best memories are from Tim and his GFOD winter and summer tournaments. I am also at a loss for words except that I will keep Tim and his family in my prayers.

This is terrible news. I saw and talked to Tim just two weeks ago at the Ashland & Lewis Regional finals. When DD played at AU they used GFOD as a winter practice facility and i did part of DD's skills video there. My deepest condolences go out to his family.

I can remember when daughter one made the transition from Rec to Travel. We had never heard of fastpitch indoor softball and our team entered at GFOD. When we walked in and saw the field our eyes were as big as silver dollars. We were hooked and thought it was the coolest. Probably a key point in hooking our family on fastpitch.

That is sad news regarding Tim. I hope the family takes comfort in the fact that his vision created a lot of fun and memories for many families.

To the whole family. My prayer is that God holds you in his arms and gives you peace.
