BS, really? Why would she NOT play? That girl is as tough as anyone in the GWOC.

She is going to Arkansas that weekend. Probably to get away from her older brother (He went to Ohio State - lol).

Ok, I thought you meant she was not playing for Centerville this year in HS ball.

Oh heck no....we would drag her out on the field!!!! I am imagining she will have an all state year this year before she goes to play for the Razorbacks next fall.....

I would understand dragging her out there. She is as good a hitter I have seen around here. Saw her a couple times this fall and she smashes it pretty good.

I would say so, only 1K with 99AB for the 2010 school season....it will be fun watching her on ESPN in 2012 playing for the Razorbacks!!!

Re: To Quiet in the GWOC

The GWOC has had a very nice run of talent and I have read of the players that are gone. But who are the stars of the GWOC for this year?

These are the kids that come to mind immediately. I know there are more but these were the first ones that came to my mind.

Pitchers: The 3 strongest in GWOC will be
Spain-Fairborn
Clutter- Northmont
Marrs -West Carrolton

Sticks and gloves to watch
Bergy from Lebanon ( im a little Biased on this kid, she has the potential to be a huge stick for the Warriers)
Walter Lebanon- The kids a player game in and game out
Haer from Butler- Shes maturing into a very nice player offensively and defensively
Angie Clark from Wayne - has that go get em attitude and fun to watch. And for the life of me I cannot figure out why she diddnt sign in November.
Libby Pfeffer from Northmont- She will be a hammer when she matures into her stick and brings a nice glove with it.
Hutchinson from Lebanon- She can move base runners, her BA dosent realy do her justice.

These are just a few but as I said they are the first names to pop into my mind. enjoy picking it apart lol

Re: To Quiet in the GWOC

Tim is way too modest to mention probably the best hitter in the league is his daughter Brittany Duncan at Fairborn. A yearly All Ohio player and one of the most feared hitters in the game.

I think youre thinking of S. Marrs at West Carrollton....

Some more names
tabitha Enicks Greenville 2B The strength is up the middle for greenville.
Kelly Martin Greenville SS
Erin Lander Northmont CF Has great range. Can cover the whole outfield.
Kayla Woodard Northmont C Probably the best catcher in the league. She is commited to play college softball at Otterbein university.

I think Sophie Bolser gives Fairborn a great one-two punch in the GWOC South. She played with my daughters in the fall and is a nice player.

I agree , she is another one that will mature into her position especially when Spain has moved on and shes forced to carry the load her senior year.

My 2nd oldest (or 3rd youngest?) daughter has caught Sophie and she was very impressed by her (she has caught the likes of Montana Weir, Emily Froment, et al, so she knows her pitchers) and she will keep Fairborn in good hands for the time she is there.

Sounds like from Tim's comments Lebanon is loaded (must have Hawk players! :lmao:). Who does everyone think are the the tops of each team....I know a lot of players graduated (luckily for us, we only lost 2) so some of the names mentioned I don't recognize...?

What about these pitchers?
Vansant Beavercreek 1.36ERA (2010)
Walk Fairmont 1.82ERA (2010)
Baker MSBG 1.39ERA (2010)
Chesley Wayne 1.35ERA (2010)

Actually the ones I mentioned play for the Doom Xpress Sting and Buckeye Heat, no shameless plugs here. The rest play for other orgs that I cant think of right at the moment except for Clutter with the Valley Storm

Re: To Quiet in the GWOC

Wayne will return 8 starters amd as clark get's the well deserved headlines we will field a solid group.
Tim as for clark she also has b-ball offers and is considering whats best for her but as i see it somebody is going to get the diamond in the ruff with her she wants to be close to home.(wsu should get busy)
we also like to keep things quite over her in the heights we just like to win under the rador. should be a great central division this year as we try for the three-peat but with all the talent out there you never know what's going to play out.
Good luck to the teams and players in the best conference around.

I'm thinking VanSant from the creek will be a well adjusted sophomore. Certainly an impressive freshman year. But in closing dont fall asleep on Boro this year as the inbound Freshman will make improvements. Hopefully a 500 season.
