I know SWOBAT is pretty big, but how many players in the field?

we played all 9 with no problems. Not like playing at the SDS facility and if my memory is right it is bigger than Champions was or close to it in the old Sharonville location. Doug had 13 on the field...;&

With the exception of the short fences - it plays true to softball field size... Dave, would love to have you guys come play....

13? I never had more than 12 .... lol. With KK pitching it just seems like that many are out there...

We're hoping to make it. All eleven girls are either playing volleyball, basketball, or both so I have to see how some of the schedules play out. We haven't finalized our 2010 schedule yet, but I have the EarlyBird and Finale in the tentative plan as well.

BTW: it is indoor and you can play with just 2 outfielders, 8 players with no problem. The most a girl is going to get on a shot in the 'gap' is a double...

Bracket Play
_____________________________________
10am Hawks 98 vs 4 seed (BG 1)
11:30 2 seed vs 3 seed (BG 2)
1:00pm 1 seed vs BG 1 Winner (BG 3)
2:30pm BG 2 vs BG 3 Winner (Championship)

As host, my team, Hawks 98, will play 1 less pp game and take the first bracket game to play into the final four.

Girls can wear cleats or tennis shoes... best bet - have them bring both and see which they like best.. this is the same turf used on pro football fields - very receptive to cleats.

Coaches.. we will have concessions ... the money raised from it covers the umpires costs. We will have pizza, hot dogs and sloppy joes / chips in addition to Soda, Gatorade and water... Please let your parents know that we appreciate them taking advantage of the concessions and helping us cover our costs...

Thanks!
