12U ASA State Tournament

Am I reading this correctly that there were no teams participating in this year's ASA State Tournament for 12U? If so, why was this tournament abandoned? The nationals are in a great ballpark located in Spartanburg, SC.

You are correct....
There were only 7 10U teams & No 12U....

I don't believe it was abandoned, per se. Only three teams had signed up for the 12U tournament, so it didn't happen this year for lack of participation.

WOW .. Shocked that in a short period of time this went from THE event at 12-14u to nothing .. there were 50-60 teams per age group just a few years back . What happened ?

Did they set a bad date ? up against Rays or ??
