As the interim "IFA - Ohio State Director, I have three question to ask myself before I make any major changes.

1.) Make sure I'm doing what right.
2.) Make sure I'm doing it for the right reasons.
3.) Make sure I leave IFA in better shape for the next ( IFA - Ohio State Director ) when I step down !

With that said, we must make some changes on the Location and Dates for the 14 under and 10 under IFA-Elite Nationals.

I will explain why I felt this change was needed later in this tread.

* Note the 14 under and 10 Under National have a new Date and Location.

THE REASON BEHIND THE CHANGES.

I did a simply search on the internet and was able to come up with 5 location just on the 14 under National that were from the previous State director.

I was able to find 4 format for the 14u National.
Was able to find two set of Dates for the 14u National.

From my point, The proper marketing of this event had not taken place in a timely manner under the previous State director and several misconceptions have been circulating. The misconceptions have prompted many teams to select alternative tournaments in which to play.

I understand that all to well, as many of my phone call about the Nationals has been from confused people.

I want to end all the misconceptions today.

You can check out this tread for Team list.

Ok i had two question sent to me??????

I want to share my reply in a public form to avoid any type of misconceptions. Other words if you didn't hear me say it or see me post it.

I would be suspicious.

Question #1

I notice that the ( Teams ) that were on the list have been removed.

(a) we only had 3 Teams on the list. Since i change dates & location i felt it was only fair to give them a chance to bail out.

So as of 06.27.09 at 7:03 a.m. We have no Team in 14 u or 10u national.

Question #2

How many Teams will you need to hold this event ?

2 Teams in each age group.

If we only end up with 2 teams, we would let them play best of 3 game series.

God Bless
