Does anybody know what fields will be used for this tourney?

I have to imagine it would be the South Rec fields where they hold the Elyria Summer Kickoff. Although, I think there are only 4 or maybe 5 fields there. Very nice fields though and all lighted.

We played up there 2 years ago in the summer kick off. The park is okay, not alot of hotels close bye and the ones that were, were older and dated. Things may have changed in 2 years.

No, the hotel situation is the same. There are several nicer hotels about a 25 minute drive east in North Olmsted. Follow Rt 57 to Rt. 10 to I480 and get off at the Great Northern (Oh 252) exit. There is a mall with tons of rest., hotels, stores, etc...

These fields are only 30 minutes from our house. Been at these fields before many of times and I know all the hotels in the area. They were revamped this past spring (or might of been fall of `08).

I`ll give it a look. The site that usually has a ton of info on these fields is currently down.

I spoke to Gary Mason @ Elyria Parks & rec, he confirmed the June 11th weekend and the West Park fields. He told me he sent info to Warren to post on the ASA website. Also said he should have registration info soon.

Another hotel is the Fairfield Inn off of I-90 and 611 in Avon. About 10-15 from the fields. Closest attraction is Crocker Park about 10 more minutes to the west on I-90 off of Crocker Road in Westlake.

Doug we stayed at the Holiday Inn. It is 6 miles from the park. The Midway Mall is right behind it. It is on 57 with plenty of choices in terms of places to eat.

Was on the 57 strip Saturday night between Hitting and Performance training.

There's a comfort inn, as I know you guys like to stay at as well as Red Roof(Nicer then I thought for $65.00 with decent pool area but continental bf was poor). and several other choices. This is great location, as stated above, across from mall and right at 3 HWY exchanges weather heading to ball parks or home.
