DD's Homer Hawks were on a run today til losing the last game of the day and I think finishing 35th. It was a great experience for her. Played great, team went 5-2 and had all her top colleges out multiple times. Couldn't ask for a better experience.

She felt really at home seeing so many of her Ohio sisters around the fields. She misses all of them but it was really cool for her to know so many quality kids/players at a Nationals event.

I believe OH was represented well. GO Scarlet WIN IT ALL. I coached a team against them two years ago and was very impressed. I was coaching third base against them and the right fielder ran all the way in on a full sprint next to me and I could feel the wind. They are coached well and are a very impressive team.

I brought some girls over to EMR this year and I believe we did the best we could. We tried to prove the Nay Sayers wrong and I believe we did. The girls from EMR did very well and may have done even better if it was not for the 3rd base coach, MYSELF. These girls deserve more credit than people give them. They talked about them being given the berth, these girls did not deserve the negativity. They are an Ohio team and I would believe more would be supportive. REMEMBER they are all young ladies and the politics of ball should not interfere with their accomplishments. It takes nothing away from what these young ladies have done. THEY DID WELL and are a great group of young ladies and parents.

GO ALL OHIO TEAMS no matter what tournament.

If that is indeed where it ended, then that is a phenomenal result, especially getting into the Loser's Bracket right out of the gate ... that goes well beyond outstanding!

Too bad for Tidalwaves that these two had to eliminate one or the other in a tight game also.
