2007 Valley Extreme Fall Ball Information

? Seventh annual Valley Extreme Fall Ball ? Age group for 2008 play!
? Fall Ball will be played on Sundays; 9/2 (Labor Day Weekend), 9/9, 9/16, 9/23, 10/7, 10/14, & 10/21
? Cost is $325, make check payable to ?Valley Extreme? and mail to one of the below addresses.
? $100 deposit will reserve your spot, full payment must be made by 9/2/07
? Entertaining all age groups. ? Last year we had 30 teams (6-12U?s, 6-14U?s, 12-16U?s, and 6-18U?s)
? We have five fields, so we can entertain 30 teams
? Game times for weeks #1 through #4; 1st doubleheader 10:00 a.m. to 12:50 p.m., 2nd doubleheader 1:05 p.m. to 3:55 p.m., and 3rd doubleheader 5:40 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
? Game times for weeks #5 through #7; 1st doubleheader 9:30 a.m. to 12:20 p.m., 2nd doubleheader 12:35 p.m. to 3:25 p.m., and 3rd doubleheader 3:40 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
? Each team ?MUST? provide a new softball every week. This softball will be returned to the team after their doubleheader.
? Full concession stand
? Game time limit will be 80 minutes
? No international tie breakers if game is tied after 80 minutes
? 10 run mercy rule after 5 innings
? If time allows, there will be a 10-minute intermission between games to visit the concession stand, restrooms, and to warm up pitchers for the second game
? Whatever team was ?home team? for the 1st game will be the ?visiting team? for the second game, and visa versa.
? There will be a 15-minute intermission between doubleheaders to allow finishing teams to vacate the dugout, and the new oncoming teams to enter the dugouts.
? All teams must be prepared and ready to take the field 30 minutes prior to the start of the next set of doubleheaders.
? Games will start and end at the designated times, no exceptions!
? Game will be played under NSA rules
? To keep costs to a minimum, there will only be one NSA umpire per game. ? Please be considerate to their judgment calls, if problems exist please contact Greg Bensing or Bruce Whetzel.
? For rainout information you can also contact Greg Bensing?s (330-307-9315) or Bruce Whetzel?s (330-507-1442) cell phones at anytime for a weather/field update.
? Refund Policy for Rainouts; no refund for one rainout, and then a $25/team per week for 2nd, 3rd, etc. rainout
