How are the fields looking for tomorrow? ?Is there a rainout line?

Teams:

We got over two inches of rain on Thursday. Fields are playable as of Friday night, but it looks like a lot of rain is on its way by the start of the 1st game. Fields will not be able to take a lot of water. You can call Bruce Whetzel at 330-507-1442, or Greg Bensing at 330-307-9315 for updates. We will call managers if fields become unplayable.

How did everybody do today. How did the weather hold up?

The weaher was not the Best to play in--BUT it held up and we got to play some great softball!!

The Lady Lasers Orange won all three pool games (15-0; 10-2; and 10-0 I believe). We placed first for Sunday's single elimination play. The Valley Extreme Blue won all three pool games too, but I do not know their scores and seeded 2nd as they gave up 3 total runs vs our 2.

So far the tournament has been run very smoothly and the grounds crew has done a great job. The umpires have worked very hard to keep the games on schedule as well.

Anyone that is interested in watching some softball tomorrow....the Valley Extreme NSA 2007 Fall Qualifier will be completed indoors at the Thunderplex. ? ? ?We put over 50 bags of oil dry on the fields today, but the last 2" of rain (still raining) has forced us to use another option.

This tournament has been very well run and the fields were in very good condition, despite the rain. ?I do not have a dd on Valley Extreme, but this organization has done a fantastic job. ?Thanks for taking us indoors tomorrow!!

The 14U Sapphires looked awesome today! ?They beat Valley Exteme-Blue and Nordonia Knights to make it to the championship game. ?Good Job, Ladies!?
