Valley Extreme Fall NSA National Qualifier for 2007

The Valley Extreme Softball Organization will be sponsoring a 2006 Fall NSA National Qualifier Tournament on 9/30 and 10/1. ? ?This is our fifth year!

? ? ? ?4 Game Minimum (weather permitting)
? ? ? ?Cost $325 per team
? ? ? ?NSA National Qualifier Tournament
? ? ? ?Maximum 36 teams ? we had 25 teams entered in 2005
? ? ? ?Age Groups for 2006 ? 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U, & 18U
? ? ? ?NSA Rules, balls, and umpires (two per game)
? ? ? ?$3.00 individual admission fee per person ? infants are free (manager & team players are free)
? ? ? ?Must be NSA sanctioned for 2006 and be able to show proof of accidental & liability insurance at check in
? ? ? ?Pool play on 9/30
? ? ? ?Single Elimination tournament on 10/1
? ? ? ?Team trophies for 1st and 2nd place, and individual trophies to the 1st place teams in each age group
? ? ? ?Winners accepting NSA qualifier berths will have their team roster locked for the 2007 calendar year.

The majority of the games will be played at the Candlelight Knolls Complex. ? ?The Candlelight Knolls Complex has four groomed fields with concessions, ample parking, restrooms, and space for team warm-ups.

Last year we had only three 10U teams, NSA allowed us to give a berth with just these teams. We played a double elimination format with the 10U.

Last day to receive checks for this tournament will be noon on 9/25. ? ? If we do not have at least four teams in each age group that age group will be cancelled. ? ? ?Second place individual trophies we only be given out if there are at least eight teams in that age group. ? ?All second place finishers will receive a team trophy.
