Thunder there are probably some underclassmen that we know nothing about that could make an impact. ?I forgot about the younger Zappone from Springfiedl/Buckeye Heat. ?She could have a great year. ?I really don't see a lot happening at Maumee or Rossford. ? But time will tell about those two. ?Will Aly be the starter for NV? ?I believe the pitcher from last year was a senior. ?SV, I will need some help here. ?PB last year had a ton of pitchers at varsity and JV, Bryson, Quimby, Levans, Melchoir, and two new ones on the JV-B team. ?They will have another new one this year a Freshman T. Plummer. ?A few of these ladies may not pitch next year because they will move to other poistions. ?Hegedus will be hard to replace, but have some good ones from JV, J. Winzler, A. Wagner, K. Levans, and J. Pavleko, ?plus S. Messenger that could fill those cleats. ?I know that a few this summer did show good power with over the fence types of home runs. ?All of the above have tournament ball experience too. ?It will be up to the coach to see what he decieds. ? ;)

PBS,....I think Aly has a legitimate shot to start. She pitched mostly JV last year, but did get some work on the varsity. I'm pretty sure she was credited with 2 varsity wins.

Last time I seen Matthews pitch she was bringing the heat, another one of those 4 to 6 super soph pitchers in the area.

Springfield-- Faith Atkins may be a kid to look out for. She would be the Varsity Catcher however there is 1st team NLL Megan Price there.

Her travel team (Lasers Orange) have her playing 3rd alot. Her bat is really starting to come around. But there is an 1st team NLL 3rd basesman in the name of Randy Hamilton there.

There is 4 possibly 5 spots on varsity that need to be filled. 3 starters left last year.

Fastpitchfan 11---you're right Faith/Faythe (sorry, not sure which way she spells it) is a strong competitor. ?(DD has played with her many times---gotta love summer ball) :D

She swings a mean stick, is an outstanding catcher, but plays tuff anywhere she is put. :)

Timing though, has been her setback. ?She has had the misfortune to be a year or so behind some excellent players where she would probably prefer to play, otherwise I have no doubt she would start at those positions. :'(

p.s.---sendin' a Holla out to Rose. ;D

Fastpitch, Faith is a great young lady. She is with the Lasers this year? I thought last year she was with the Wizards. She must have moved on. She does have a great stick. So it sounds like Springfield has some talent to fill in the holes. It seems to be up to the coach here too.

Thanks FastPitchfan11. ?PBS is a great services. ?We should all appreciate the information provided by PBS. ?;D ;D ?I had heard something about her team disbanding. ?I would have thought that Faith would have followed her teammates. ?Do others from that team play with the Lasers? ?

kat, Rose is a sweet lady. ?I have met them both in the past great people! ?DD and I know her from travel ball too. ? :) :)

PeanutButterJellyTime---my gurl will play with the Maumee Thunder gurlz next summer. ?They are supposed to have two teams she will play for: ?a regular 16u & an 18u that will only play about 4 tournaments over the course of the season.

Can't say enuff good things about their organization---dd and I loved everything about it (coaches, players, families). ? ?Highly recommend them to anyone looking for a positive experience in tournament ball. :)

Kat is a great kid. My DD has played with her and against her. I have also Coached her and umpired a few of her games. I love her attitude. I wwould take a whole team of attitudes like hers.

Lindsay Rich, freshman, will be a nice addition to the Perrysburg pitching staff this year.

Rich goes to the same pitching coach as my daughter. She can throw hard, might bump Quimby out of that number two spot. Unfortunate for Rich she will have to wait three years to get her chance, because she is behind Bryson. Bryson is one of the best pitchers in the State IMO.
