I'm a coach for the 14u shockwave. Unfortunately I'm bald and short. I know we are not suppose to use names but all this talk about the short bald guy is driving me crazy. Not all the short bald guys at the tournament were idiots. ;D

Adam and the Twisters organization did a great job considering the circumstances, both weather and otherwise. There is an incredible amount of work that goes into planning a tournament like this. Even under ideal weather conditions, you simply cannot make everyone happy.

We need more people like Adam who are willing to work as hard as he obviously does to promote the sport that we all love to watch. This was a local tournament for us and we appreciate having one or two tournaments close to home. I liked the fact that there were several different vendors there..............tournament shirts, softball clothing and items, headbands and sunglasses, bake sale, and action pictures from the games. The girls had fun shopping when they had time. The trophies looked pretty impressive as well.

TD and Twister organization have a long way to go. Moving pool play games or even canceling them is one thing, but moving Sunday games to earliest possible start after midnight is not acceptable. First you blame the weather (not buying it). Then you say you had to deal with your 12U coach (also a lame excuse). This guy has been making trouble at tourneys for a couple of years now, so the mistake was having him coach in the first place. Great effort by the field crews as always. Adam, anybody can run a sunshine tourney, a good TD can do it with the 2 hours of rain we had on Saturday. Get it together Twisters if you want teams coming back.

Lisa, are you sure you want to start bashing the organization. ?I know you're Tony's wife, but be realistic. ?It has never been about the money, every dime brought in has always been spent on the girls. ?Whatever money made on the tournament is spent on the girls to go to nationals. ?The organization has never just received money and not spent it on the girls. ?It has always been about the girls. ?How dare you try to say something that you know is not true. ?How much money has each team paid back to parents this year to reduce their registration cost off of the fundraising. ?How much money did you pay to have your daughter play? ?what was that? ?Oh yeah nothing. ?If you want to start slinging stuff back, i can play the same game. ?Would you like me to post the email I received from the PA tournament director about what happened there? ?I don't think so. ?I would think the grace's would leave amicablly, I don't think Tony will get too much support from the OFC posters, but i may be wrong. ?

Don't be lured into a fight with those who obvioulsy have their own agenda. We appreciated your people's effort, and understand how hard your organization worked to try and make this come off.

I don't know you or Tony personally but I have seen him in action at the 10U level last year, and I believe it would be in your best interest to let that guy and his followers(if any) go. If you want to have any kind of a good reputation don't stoop as low as to battle with them. If you are the kind of man you claim to be you don't have to defend yourself against them. I can't imagine how many girls he has negatively affected with his antics, I personally know of a few. The one who will eventually pay the ultimate price for his actions is his talented DD, I have seen him climb her up and down in front of crowds of people in the middle of a ballfield. I suggest you you let Tony and Co. go and hopefully no other organization gives this guy a chance to show his colors.

If you have a beef with any organization... take it up with them via email or IM. You will not do it on OFC. The sour grapes seem to appear whenever a tournament is criticized. Not on my watch..

Grow some and talk with all responsible parties face to face for a change...

Sorry if my message offended you about the twisters. My dad had been in contact with the twister organization and they consider it harrassment or do not reply. And by the way, I am only a 20 year old girl who played travel softball for three years and I take offense to someone telling me to grow a set. Maybe if you want to talk to my dad, he will talk to you about talking to a girl that way.

not every team is a perfect fit for everyone, been there done that, would never consider bash that team online because we were unhappy. when you are posting not so nice comments about a team it doesn't just affected the adults running the team, there are girls reading these comments too! who very much love this team.

I don't think there was ever anything bad said about the Twister team its self it was all directed to the actions of the 12u coach, and the bad scheduling on Sunday

I think enough said. Bad weather and some bad decisions, who hasn't made them. Twisters is a good org. that is helping alot of girls live their dream.

There is nothing left to be said and - as I said - if you have a problems - communicate with the ones you have a problem with. You will NOT air your petty grievances on this site. I let this go on for a while but the venom started appearing and that is not what this site if for.

There are ususally 3 sides to the truth - One side says this and the other says that. Usually the truth lies in the middle.
