For Sunday, that would have been her 3rd game, the Cyclones pitcher was on her 2nd. EMR pitcher pitched 8 games over 3 days, Cyclones pitcher 5 games. Is it fair to imply that the Cyclones batters faced a lesser pitcher because the pitcher pitched 1 more game on each of the 3 days than the pitcher the EMR batters faced?
The EMR players were tough as nails and their coaches one of the most positive we have faced. The pitcher and that defense, no matter how many games they had played, were the best I saw out there. :yahoo:
Too bad someone has to create an account on here today to try and lessen the Cyclone win.
Did I miss something? In reading the posts, I don't see where anyone said anything about any team getting a break because they faced a pitcher who has pitched a lot of games.
What I did see was a post asking if it is ethically right to throw a single pitcher 8 games in a weekend. I think it is a good question and maybe it should have it's own thread.
