2011 All-Ohio Underclassmen Tourney

Here's a look at how these three pitchers fared after their first college season:

Montana Wear (Wright State, excluding league tournament):
5W - 18L, 156.1 IP, 3.72 ERA, 94 SO

Erin Seiler (Akron, all games):
17W - 19L, 250.0 IP, 2.63 ERA, 219 SO

Susan Knight (Cleveland State, all games)
16W - 11L, 194.0 IP, 2.67 ERA, 131 SO.

Congrats to all three with their first successful year in D1 softball!

I didn't do too bad on my opinions on these three players did I? I know Montana struggled at times this season, especially late in games giving up a late run to lose a close game. I think she'll improve in that area as she gets a little more experience.

The diff between hs and college is huge... there is an adjustment period, I have no doubt Montana will improve. Every freshman goes thru it.

I was able to see all three of them in college games this year, two years after the underclass tourney, and doing great. Look forward to watching their progress over future years.
