3rd Annual Ohio Wave Harvest Mixer
October 9th-10th
This is the third year we are hosting our fall event. Just as the name implies, this is an ideal opportunity to get your NEW team together for some team bonding and a game time "look-see." The ideal situation is to play a complete game, so once again every game will feature 1 hour 30 minute games times (no drop dead, every game will have a winner).
The tournament is hosted by OHIO WAVE Fastpitch and will run at the Stebbins Field Softball Complex in Greenville. It is one of the finest softball only complexes in the state, and with the addition last year of the indoor restrooms (heated and air conditioned) and awesome concession stand it has been kicked up one more notch.
This tournament typically fills quickly and we expect 2010 to be no exception. If you are interested please submit the registration form and confirm your spot ASAP.
Since this is a fall event to evaluate your new team, we have decided to not make this a 2011 qualifier. Therefor you do not have to concern yourself with any of the eligability rules from playing up, etc.
Cost $335 per team
4 GG (weather permitting)

ASA Rules apply. 2 umpires per game / every game
Umpires are provided by the Darke County Association. In the last year this association has really made an effort to raise the quality of umpiring in their association. Members have attended the ASA umpires training in Cincy and other locations. They have daily pre tournament meetings to discuss wierd calls, issues, rules interpretations, etc. After each of our tournaments, the umpires met to discuss issues, conflicts, rules, AND umpire conduct that occured during the tournament. I am confident that the umpires that step on the field will provide a quality game.
