4th Annual Uniform Blowout - North in Clinton, Ohio

I am bringing a Uniform Blowout event to Northern Ohio teams and it will be played at the Lady Patriots Fields located at 7927 Cleveland Massillon Rd, Clinton, Ohio.

The event is sanctioned by Global Sports Authority. To read about them and their rules go to www.globalfastpitch.com . In Global sanctioned events, teams are allowed to bat 10 or 11 players and have what is called a "base burner" as a player. A base burner can run the bases at any time for any player. She can run once, twice or ten times per innning.

These games are complete full games of 7 innings. TWO UMPIRES PER GAME .

Winner of each age group event wins Uniforms valued at $600.00. YOUR choice of supplier.


The event is a one day round robin and I am only taking four teams per age group.

On Saturday, September 25th... the 10u event will be played.

On Sunday, September 26th... the 12u event will be played.

The format is a three game round robin between four teams with the winner of the round robin taking home uniforms valued at $600.00 dollars.

Entry Fee is: $350.00 per team.

NO GATE. Coolers are welcomed. There will be a concession stand being run by the Lady Patriots organization

This is a free ride on team sanctioning for this event to get opinions on how they like the new association coming to Ohio for the 2011 season.

I think Global is a wonderful consideration for coaches giving them an option to use more players and a base burner for a total of 12 players if they wish.

Nothing confusing about their rules.. no DP/Flex things to confuse the world.

Straight softball. International tie breaker rules apply except with a twist.

Players are placed on third and on second in all extra innings.

The only rule I am not following is the 10 defensive players for 10u. Nine (9) will be allowed only.

To the 14u coaches that have call and wrote to me about .. "Where is this for the 14u teams... I am trying to find diamonds for you right now. I would have a full slate of 14u teams for this same weekend.

I appreciate your thoughts about the 14u division and the need for something like this. This is why I do this event.. as making money on it.. well that's a bare minimum. Believe me.

New teams need new uniforms. If you are going to play in an event in the Fall.. why not play for uniforms !!!

Let me call someone on Tuesday morning and try to find some diamonds and maybe we will added a 16u as well.


I think I can probally find some in the Dover / New Philadelphia area.
