Indoor Tournament anyone going to fort wayne ind in march ?

The Wild Thangs are making their 2nd trip to Fort Wayne in 08'. Any other Ohio teams going over ? Fun trip last year the 10u lost in the finals in ITB . The 12u went either 2-2 or 1-3 , can't remember . The girls at 12u were really nervous , had not played together or experienced any sucess. Should be more ready to compete this year. Hopefully the pitchers who have not seen live batters can throw strikes . If so we should be pretty competetive. Hope to see you there. Hopefully we won't have any 7;00am starts with alarms going off at 5;30 am to get there. MD

Are the Wild Thangs still going to the War of the Wetlands in Fort Wayne this march?
I seen you listed on play nsa along with the Stingrays but now both teams are no longer listed.

Not sure about "War of the Wetlands " but we are going up March 13-14th . 12u only this year. What is War of the wetlands ? MD

The War Of the Wetlands is the name of the Tournament... It is March 14th - 16th at the Dome in Fort Wayne. The Wild Thangs and the Stingrays are no longer on the list of teams entered.

ManitouDan, How is the Dome?? I know you were there last year, I have heard that it is the nicest around. high ceiling and nearly a full outfield.

pretty nice place , the fence is rather .....inviting ! not quite a full field but close . Ours 10's hit 3 out last year but 2 of them might , I say MIGHT, cleared a 200 anyway. They were bombs. And more than once last year the 10's got checked for Birth cert's. !!! LOL Oddly enough I did'nt see a 12u dinger in any of the 3 or 4 games we played. Bring long sleeves and jackets for the kids and tell the parents to dress warm. Esp if it's a cold weekend. They don't watse their cash on heat .

I see what you were pointing out LR 55 , I checked the website and there is like a dozen teams listed but no Stingrays or Wild Thangs . I don't have an explanation. I'll try emailing the TD or the FW Dome. MD
