And in the Fall now, 14u and through 18u teams have girls playing HS Volleyball... so there is team concerns there.... concerning the amount of players they have on a saturday morning.

Best place to be is in the Fall.. I agree ... but hopefully the TD gives the teams a break and start late afternoon on Saturday .. because in Ohio ... coaches have the ever present problem of HS volleyball on Saturday mornings. Let alone the logistics of being in SW Ohio and 10 miles from the Ohio River.

Thanks for making my point SSM had no idea what she was talking about, TD's have an obligation to post accurate information and back it up with facts, don't have a problem with ASA JO Commish, I had info directly from the source of what was discussed and what was proposed, I hardly use this site because of the innacuracies and uniformed that seem to be the most frequent posters, factually, what was being posted was false, be as indignant as you want, no high horse involved just a frustration with the clueless.

Last post by me on the subject, as usual I feel like the longer I am active on this site the more fastpitch brain cells I am killing. Lots better things to do with my time, my purpose in posting on this topic was to "out" the innacurate info, I think that purpose has been served.

Sorry to burst your bubble but I did know exactly what I was talking about. I along with Mary Ellen Bonner was at the meeting with the Ultimates and Michelle when the discussion first came up and when there was a hard time deciding who would go where she said she was making the decision and it was going to be what I stated; 1st and 2nd place was ASA Eastern and 3rd would be OKC. Being this also involved Crystl and bringing Laura Berg in for the clinic and flyers were made with the information we would not have done that had we not been told that by Michele in the meeting.

What she decides to say now is on her, not me. So you might want to get your facts straight before you state someone doesn't know what they are talking about. I would hope you would stop and think someone of Crystls status would not have us posting and advertising info we made up or had not been told.

Boy I can still remember it like it was yesterday. Good Luck to the Hawks on their journey out to the wild wild west and keep us updated on your progress. I was your umpire during the winter at all stars and this team has a real shot of bringing home the gold again.

We are excited ... watching the CWS last night and seeing the main field got me going.. what a great experience the girls will have... we just want to compete and continue to make a small dent in that respect that Ohio teams continue to earn...

I just think it is great that Ohio orgs spend the time and money .. of course along with the parents.. and attend something so special for the girls.... a lifetime memory ... and then play for all of Ohio girls fastpitch softball while they are there in Okie City.

And no doubt, all wishing for you to bring back the "Title" . Right back here to Ohio once again.

3 game - 3 elimination .. we got a bye til the 3pm Friday game ... I wonder who made that draw - was it really blind? What if we got a bad pool? We lost an opportunity to play 1 additonal game with the bye... LOL - sorry, after all the concerns tossed at us with the Metro - I just had to play some of it back ...

What a difference a day makes... got up this morning to go for a lite workout and someone stole our equipment trailer last night.. cut the chains, locks and took the entire thing... girls have our uniforms .. no equipment, gloves, bats, cleats, nada ... ASA is stepping up ..helping us locate some gloves and bats... old school pickup softball for us!

These kids are tough, we will see how tough this afternoon... wish us luck!
