That I find it annoying doesn't mean that our pitchers produce sub-par pitches when it is shown to them. Maybe you are the coach for your DD's team, but if you aren't, you better clear what you tell your DD with her coaches. I know a few (one quite intimately) who would be pretty steamed if a player went up there with the waggle approach without clearing it with the coach, especially if the instruction to bunt is for a sacrifice. Waggling might affect the pitcher's ability to throw a strike (though as I said, it usually makes an effective target for the pitcher), but waggling sure doesn't help a batter to put down the sacrifice on a pitch that is a strike.
