Certified? (or Certifiable?)

The ACE certification from ASA has many levels. The required first level is pretty cut and dry. The above levels are still something you can get online for a fee of course but they are more indepth about fastpitch. Still obtainable by many. I completed testing to the level of "Instructional" back when they first started but I don't know if it is still offered.

The courses offered by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association are college accredited thru the Texas Women's University towards a Masters in Kennisiology, which is a big word that basically means coach. lol. The NFCC as it is refered to has class rankings that reflects the level of completion. A "Gold Star Master Coach" is the first level up to "Four Star Master Coach" that with classroom time in Denton, Texas will get you a piece of paper. In my opinion, the NFCC courses are hands down the best of any certification you can have in any level of coaching.

NFHS certification is good but it is its own beast and not readily available to al that coach for obvious reasons.

The IFPA certification is a pitching instructor piece of paper from Ernie Parker and an association of pitching instructors from around the country. This certification makes one eligible to be listed in the National Fastpitch Pitching Instructors National Registry. Again, this is for a fee. To obtain A IFPA certification you must complete training with Ernie Parker and associates and pass a post class test.

I have and maintain all the above because I believe all to be worth it.
