Does anyone have any information on the cincy metro?

I called and left Michelle a vm but trying to get her to call you back or anything - I'd have a better chance of winning the power ball tonight.

Did you go to the mandatory coaches meeting Monday night where all the information was distributed? Not sure exactly what information you are looking for or I'd try and help you out? I "believe" that the games will be during the week starting next week and I "believe" all the games will be played at Rumpke if that helps out at all.

Looks like you lost OFC Heat 96. They appear to have accepted a bid from 14U states:
12. OFC Heat 96 - ACCEPTED BERTH

Murph - I was not at the Monday coaches meeting but I think the 16's (& 18's) are the following week.

Nationals are the first week in August. Why couldn't OFC Heat 96 do Metro next week and Nationals in August?

why would you need to do Metro if you already have your berth?

It appears they were given a berth from the 14U States, no?

I have no idea. I was just trying to figure out why you assumed they dropped out of Metro. Why did all those teams play in the States and not accept their berth? Maybe they are playing the Metro just to play. Been hard to get games in with all the rain.

No I didn't attend the mandatory coaches meeting as I didn't know anything about it. I've been trying to contact Michelle with no return calls at all. If this is how she is going to run things then I think she needs to go. Why do they keep the Cincy metro such a secret- BS in my opinion, could be a great tourney if anyone knew about it.

I assumed they would drop out of playing Metro because if you already have your berth you are no longer allowed to compete in a qualifier.

She sent an email out a couple of weeks ago and there were a lot of coaches on the distribution list. Did not see your name, I may have missed it or it may not be there, but it did go to the president of the Hawks.

My only guess is they treat Metros different, but I am really not sure.

See that's what I was trying to find out with my first question: Nationals are the first week in August. Why couldn't OFC Heat 96 do Metro next week and Nationals in August?

So once you have accepted a berth you can no longer play in a qualifier?

JEMIII -

Cleveland Metro is this weekend and teams with secured berths were not allowed entrance.

Once you accept your berth to ASA Nationals - you can no longer compete in these qualifiers.
