See that's what I was trying to find out with my first question: Nationals are the first week in August. Why couldn't OFC Heat 96 do Metro next week and Nationals in August?

So once you have accepted a berth you can no longer play in a qualifier?

Metros is designed for Cinci Teams to get their berth's without having to compete with teams outside of cincinnati. And if you happen to be a fringe Cinci team that is pretty good, you just might not got the info on the tournament for the coaches/org to get in. I've watched it for years and can only deduce it's kind of a good ole boys network as to who can come each year.
