Sure had an awesome day. The young ones were very impressive. Sure is fun watching them. Had a strong group in the afternoon session as well. Had several tell me "it sure does show that's it's all about the girls and not about the coaches". We will say thank you so much. Very kind. We won't boast about how good any one coach is and that's what we encourage. Thanks for joining in what is so much for our org that is "of the people".

The 10u group had one very good players come out. The 8/9 team is in very good shape so if you have young ones we'll need a couple more. Very excited for this group!!

All I can say is wow. What an un-believable turnout and a great day for tryouts. I was truly impressed with the players and parents who gave up their Saturday for us.

The effort from all the girls was truly impressive, I am sure some girls need ice tonight. Thank you to the players, parents and coaches.

I wish I could have been there today but I was enjoying the FL sunshine w/ my family. I called the coaches about 100 times to get updates (my cell bill will reflect it for sure) & all I kept hearing was how impressive every player's effort was - that's good stuff. Can't wait for our Weds tryout & below is the info for that date:

I would also like to boast about the effort all the players gave today at all age levels. The way they went after fly balls and then diving consistently at ball after ball was impressive. This is the effort it takes to play on A teams, thank you to all the young ladies that did this. If you do not make a static team we wish you well on the team you do make and want to thank you for giving us the opportunity to choose you. As we all know, there are certain needs a team has and unfortunately we cannot take everyone, this is the part that stinks for both parties involved, the coach and player. Wish everyone the best and congratulations if you were offered a spot today. If you were offered a spot today, pat yourself on the back and thank your parents, as you are the one that has worked hard to achieve that goal and with the help and financial support of your parents you obtained it, congratulations and welcome aboard the staic ship. Nice job by all and look forward to seeing you all at the fields.

I will update needs by team by Tuesday evening so you know before Wednesday tryouts. It changes so quickly I'll do my best to keep it current.

The 10u team has picked up some solid ball players as well as our other teams. The 11/12 and 12 teams need quite a few still the 15u North team is looking and had a good tryout tonight Scott Morris's team still needs one. 13u had a couple and is still looking. Kavins 97 team has several coming now that he is there and i hear they very strong players. The 16u team had a veery good turnout and needs a couple as well the 18u team.

The 8/9u's were so awesome to see. We have a great start if all are offered and they accept. Our coach will be there this Wednesday!! Girls that young with no fear will be super ball players as they continue to mature.

Static 18U Has filled the Catching, 3RD Base and 1st Base positions. We are looking for a pitcher, strong outfielder and a "utility OF/MI"...
We have a solid collection of Ladies with a mix of 1st and 2nd year 18U Players. We are currently at 9 and will roster 12...
Fall fees are $150... Summer fees will be determined after the first parents meeting.

Fall tournaments Include the NAIA College scrimmage at the Cancer tournament September 29/30. Coach McCool said she had about a half dozen Colleges attending DII/DIII to watch the ladies and naturally the NAIA schools and other TT we will be facing. We will also be going to the Gold Diamond showcase Oct 28/29 in Chattanooga Tenn.. I have it worked out with the TD for "no Friday" play so all of our 5 games will be played Sat/Sunday so the ladies do not have to miss any school. We will also do two one day round robin type events in the fall.

The summer schedule will be 6 of the highest quality showcase events we can get into. Over the past few years our Static showcase teams have played, Stingrays, GAPSS, Tanel 50, Sparks, MCH, Best of the Best etc.....

Coach Dennis has continued our repetition for fielding top college exposure teams while having each of our seniors over the last three yrs getting signed & a lot of the credit also goes to coach Robb. The schedule that Coach Dennis puts together to get exposure for his team is outstanding. If you can fill one of the remaining 3 positions (pitcher, strong outfielder and a "utility OF/MI") please give Coach Dennis a look.

Static 97 North team is coming together very nice. We now have 8 very strong committed players. The team needs are 2 outfielders with speed and strong arms, a catcher/utility type player and another pitcher to go along with the two that we have. You need 3 pitchers to be a strong showcase team in my opinion and to make that long run late on Sunday, we are very close.

appears that this Wednesday's event will be very busy per the recent flood of phone calls. So, please be ready as close to 6 as possible, hard to get thru a larger number on the weeknights! Weather is holding up great as well.

Historically our weeknight tryouts have been well attended so unlike the weekend version we obviously can not split into younger / older age groups in terms of a.m. or p.m. However, the girls will be split by age so that they are going through the drills with simialr age players. We will start at 6 promptly so players will need to have stretched & loosen their arms up by this time.

As Les mentions a lot will be going on tomorrow given the limited daylight & numbers so plan on this process taking 2-3 hr & more like 3 hrs for pitchers & catchers as we do those position specific drills at the end. Also, make sure each player wears softball pants given the type of drills we do (diving etc).

Thanks to all the parents and players for a great tryout. We currently have a very strong experienced core of 7 athletes - 5 of which are second year players and 2 of which are 3rd year players at the 10U level. With those players, comes a very experienced group of parents/coaches, with several of them having collegiate playing experience. We have 3 more tryouts remaining (check cincystatic.org for the tryout dates/times). We are planning to play a strong ASA schedule in 2013. We are looking for a few more athletes to complete our roster.

For the 18 and OVER team we have received MANY inquiries...We understand that a lot of the ladies are back in school so an email or phone call to coach Rob is all you need at this time. The team will be formed by Late April early May....
