Coaching Clinics

I'm looking for some advice on Coaching Clinics. Which ones would all of you experienced coaches recommend? I've been around baseball/softball for close to 40 years and have coached rec teams and was interested in getting involved in travel ball coaching. Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

If your OK with a roadtrip, Best of the Best in Cherry Hill NJ. It's just across from Philly. It's in Feb. I've been the last 2 years and it is unbelievable. The best NCAA coaches right at your fingertips. They are all very approachable as well. I can't think of a reason why I won't be back year after year.

Side note: A bunch of coaches from our organization were chewing on Ralph & Karen Weekley's ears, and one guy got Karen's email. He had some sort of question that he emailed her during the college world series that they were in at the time. He figured he'd hear back from her within the next couple weeks. That night that they played, and she replied after the game. What great people!!!! Go Vols!!!

We are working on our Clinic schedule, Mark Strother, Mark@ohiohawks.com, is heading it up.. we plan on having the MASH clinic again with Carrier, Don Slaught and more .. we are also working on a repeat of the coaches clinic we held last year with Mike Candrea from Arizona .. we are reaching out to Mike, Pat at Alabama and Tim Walton (FLA) - hope to have 1 of them headline.. more info on this coming in the next month or so...

Candrea was fantastic last year ... 4 hours with the coaches - his presentation was off the charts.

The NFCA Coaches College. Not cheap but well worth the money. http://nfca.org/college/

Also, any of the Bustos/Carrier clinics that offer a separate coaches' section.

And though we haven't been able to attend any, the coaches' clinics offered by the Hawks have instructors that we know from NFCA and other experiences to be great. If the Hawks can grab Candrea or Murphy for this coming year, that is probably a must attend clinic.

We are beginning to put into place how we want to handle our clinics for this up coming fall and winter. As soon as the instructors are in place, the information will be put out.
