College eligibility

DD's teammate found out today that she can't participate in any games this weekend because the university (NCAA D2) never received her final high school transcript. I don't understand how she was able to begin classes 3 weeks ago without it.

DD almost had the same issue, but the compliance office caught it 1 week before classes started. You would think the university would be up on that stuff!

In my experience so far with colleges.....they are worse at tracking things than our kids K-12 schools.
How many parents know about the new academic requirements for NCAA eligibility also? I know our school didnt tell the athletes about it, we found out through our TB team.
