Mike/Tippy's Dad:

It was nice meeting you at the Ice/Otterbein clinic. See you in a week and a half, assuming Mother Nature can cut us a break.

Thanks CGS. It was nice meeting you also. I just bought my first concrete block ! Lol. Next up is to get my concrete in my bucket poured. I also goa great idea from H to help Tippy with her pitching stride. It would have to be really bad out to keep the dd and I away! I may bring her friend Karlee ( lefty) or should I say the non Taylor with us again. Lol. I want a blizzard just not that weekend!

How do we stand on pop up nets. My helper can bring one if needed.

Pop up nets will not be needed. We have TWO 110ft long X 14ft High #42 poly net to hit into and behind it is a 110ft long by 30ft high #24 nylon net.

Thanks very much for the offer though, glad to see everyone willing to help us out. Look forward to meeting everyone and working together.

Are they going to be marked corrrectly with a hitting zone of 51 " high and 39 " low? If you are using a large net, what we did at one clinic we used the rolls of caution tape and weaved them thru the large net. Those come in 100' rolls. Same caution tape we use for the big zones. Just an idea.

Yes we are, but using Colored rope instead, caution tape will be used for the the ball path ie hitting zone.

Do not forget the clothes pins and tape measurer.

We also need home plates and tees. Many people just cut out carpet for home plates so there is a reference point for the tee position.

Even card board cut outs of home plates will work as they are flat and the tee sets on it.

Thanks Howard

Howard:

Ted is making a run down to Kyle's to pick up items for North Royallton. Remind us to talk to you during the down times (ha ha) this weekend about what you think are essential toys for lemmings during these clinics.

Hey guys. Do you still need some help with stations? I will likely only be able to come up for one day. If so, which day to you have the larger need? Let me know.

Good clinic. Unfortunately Taylor wasn't feeling good and by the end of the morning session she was running a fever. Thought we might stay for afternoon session but she was running low on energy. Got some ibuprofen at store and heading south. Thanks for the training with a great group. Taylor got to work with Kirk some and it was really good.
Cgs, sbfamily, Coop and more nice to see you.

The clinic was a fantastic opportunity for both me as well as DD.:cap: I learned great stuff Friday evening at the Coaches session. DD talked about what she learned for about a whole hour after this mornings session! That was fantastic because we both reinforced our learning as we conversed.:yahoo: Thanks a BUNCH for offering this opportunity!
