1st time going this season. Would the 10U fields, 6 & 7, be the ones with the shallow fences against Rt2?

What kind of food does Berardi's have? Need food and drink for Friday night.

StarzzDad - You are correct Sir. The fences on Field 7 are 122 feet away. Field 6 is 140 feet. We were in the Blitz last weekend and saw a couple of 12U batters clear the fence on Field 7. In fact, we lost a game using the ITB when one of our batters sent a drive to the fence, it was caught, and our runner at 2b was doubled off the base.

Heartbreakers -- Berardi's is is an American restaurent with an Italian base. They are famous for their fresh cut French fries. If you've been to Cedar Point and have seen the French Fry stands, Momma Berardi was the originator, before CP squeezed them out. If you like fresh Lake Erie perch - it is excellent. The potato Knoepfle soup (sort of like potato soup with dumplings) is wonderful. We've never had a bad meal there. The Huron Berardi's is on Route 6, just east of the Huron River bridge. Less than two minutes away from Faben Park. They do close at 9 p.m. on Friday's though.

Did I miss the address to the Vermilion fields on their tournament website?

We have 2 games there, if someone can post address to the Vermilion Steele and East fields.

This is our first time attending this tournament. So dont know if the Vermilion fields are in a park or part of the school fields?

As long as I have been going there some ages do start on Saturday. This year got lucky and the 18s start on Sunday at 8:00 I hope it is not us!!!!

From the East: Rt. 2 (I 90) west to Rt. 60. Turn right (North) on Rt. 60 to Sailorway, turn right on Sailorway to Vermilion Middle School. Fields are around and behind the Middle School.

From the West: Rt. 2 east to Rt. 60. Turn Left (North) on Rt. 60 to Sailorway, turn right on Sailorway to Vermilion Middle School. Fields are around and behind the Middle


These are the directions from the site. Actually easy to get to,right off route 60 (south side of Vermilion).
You cant miss the schools,they are huge with a huge football stadium looking right at all,along with several tennis courts.

12U Hurricanes had a rough welcome to 14U world going 0-2-1, Losing 4-0, 10-3 to MOV Flamin Furry, and to Finger lakes Crush. Tied the Finger Lakes Inferno 9-9 all in Pool... We found our game in Elimination and beat Lancaster Heat from NY 5-0. We play the Lake Erie Waves tomorrow. Others that I recall in the 14U Quarterfinals are both Silver Creek Stars teams, Willoughby Starzz. MOV Flamin Furry… not sure about the other 2 teams in QF

In a disappointing game this morning they lost 3-2 against W. Starzz this morning....

I am not promising these are exact scores but close....our 13's won 2 in pool play I know they won 3-0 against the Waves and lost by one to Lady Faultless. Won against Willoughby Starzz red in the first round last night but not sure of the score... Won their first game this am against Faultless. Lost 4-3 in the semi's against MOV. Sorry if these aren't exact...I don't claim to have the best memory.
