This is my 2nd year taking my 12u team to this tournament. First the negative, the bracket for 12u was unconventional at best of the 12 teams it was split into an 8 team and 4 team both playing in the same no teams received byes, and when I asked the TD she sort of blew me off stating NSA provided the bracket and the scheduling, and it was beyond her control. Honestly my only complaint. The fields were well maintained, we had a different umpiring crew for each game, they were consistent fair and when either team requested the home plate ask for help they did so with no argument of any sort. Playing at Firestone Stadium is truly one of the best moments for the girls and parents will share all season, with the PA announcer calling out the girls name and recapping the inning. Great competition as there is every year, I wish they did a 14u so we could return next year, check it out for sure!.
