Any opinions on tournaments held at the Dome in Fort Wayne Ind? Facility looks nice but have never played there before.

It is a great place to play ball. The outfield is close to a full outfield--guessing "fence" distance to be 180. Home plate is about 2 feet square, and the umpires call pitches on the full plate. Wear pants as sliding will give nasty burns on the legs. In the mornings it can be a little cold, so bring under armour and parents dress warm (the balcony is warmer than the downstairs). Plenty of cages to warm up in.

Since this is astroturf, would you recommend the girls play in their cleats? Or tennis shoes?

Most of our team wore cleats. However, I would bring tennis shoes too just in case.
