16/18U: HOH Explosion over Classics Black 5 - 4 in time limit shortened game.

Looked like Buckeye Heat 95 was up but had to leave before they finished.

The TD did a very nice job with the weather today but he get's downgraded for the construction on Home Rd.

And that new Hillsdale coach looks awfully familiar.

Buckeye Heat 95 tied the OFC Orange team 9-9. The strike zone definitely favored the hitters in that game.

Buckeye Heat 95 won its second game against Pittsburgh Power - Becker 6-3.

Saw lots of college coaches.

Not a score but boy did I laugh when I heard this one.... On field 3 at 3pm our 18U Cyclones played their last pool play game. We had a a girl at first, the pitcher throws the ball, goes off the catchers glove back to the fence. The hitter never swung. The up says, foul ball, runner who is now on second needs to go back to first. As you can imagine people are baffled so we ask for help from the field umpire. He says its the home umps call. (Basically saying, I didn't see it cause I'm here for the 38 bucks) Then I guess it happens again later at which people are now laughing. The home ump also didn't say your out or strike 3, youre out. He just said strike. On a called third strike, he simply would say "strike." Both teams were confused and when they asked him why he'd not saying your out, or strike 3, batters out etc. he said, "I don't have too" :yahoo: I am getting more fun out of the umping this year than the actually coaching/playing.

That link takes you to the home page and there is a link there to "16u-18u" Pool play schedule and results. The problem is that the scores are reported by team numbers (which are provided on that page) and you could spend quite a bit of time figuring out a team's pool play record.

As someone said on another thread, we've been getting spoiled by the way that Stingrays provides such quick and accessible results.

"quite a bit of time" would be an understatement.To me that is impossible to read . There has to be something better than that cluster of numbers . I don't mind the results not being quick, but i would like them accessible .

When it opens up in PDF at the top it says FIND put your team number in there hit the enter key and it will find that number... I read 7 teams scores in about 5 minutes. Just a helpful aid.

thanks fpdad, but when i click on the pdf there is no "find" tab I can see.

if you click the bracket that you want to see on the main website page... it opens in the pdf formate... at the top of the page that opens where the "print, save, Increase and decrease size" is to the right of that is a blank box with FIND in there... if you just put the name or number of the tram you are looking for, for me it was in the 14U pool bracket, I just put in 29 and hit enter and it right to that number in the list... and then keep hitting the next arrow and it went all the way through them.

Great game vs. Lasers Black. Championship Fastpitch loses in ITB 3-2. This one was exciting to watch.
