I think NDA has to be the favorite this year. Trojan is tough to replace, but if they can get somebody close to her @ SS they will be tough. They will probably have the best pitching as well, they have the vet Brickman (sp?) and the flamethrowing kid Grambling (Soph).
A wild card for top player in the city is Mandy Fought of Withmer, if she liked softball as much as she seems to like volleyball she would be the best postion player in the city.

Uber if Granbling was so great how come she didn't play well in the summer or against the top teams last year in High School. With Brickman if you make her pitch and layoff her high pitches she is very beatable. Her success with SUA came from the fact they had very aggressive hitters, which was proven when a more patient SUA hit her hard in the district finals. NDA will win the city league, and maybe a weak district this year, but perrysburg and Dunsmore will see them in the Regional. And good luck with your DD new catalyst.

well i think there are many more talented players in the toledo city league then just those players .....what do u think of whitmer this year? are they supposed to be any good?

As you know Gorsuch is the class of that team...if they had a pitcher they maybe tough next year. Senior talent is very over rated just watch this coming spring. Start has the pitcher orban who will be tough this year. Clay will be in the top 4 with Berry, they will need to season some pitching. Central will be better than last year. my opinion is the same as yours i think all of those girls have the potential to stand out this season . i also agree on the seniors being over rated they are always the ones getting the recognition when really there are younger players that are better. my top 4 are NDA SUA WHITMER and START. how about everyone elses opinions?

According to Grambling's Travel Ball coach, she pitched outstanding this summer for him. (met him at the country classic, he is the princepal of Evergreen). He is a great guy btw, seemed very knowledgable.

Its the Express' youngest team, and from talking to him it sounded like that team when they finish playing 18U in a few years it will be the express' last team. He is our 3rd/pitchers' Princepal.
