I do not have any clips to post that is not copyrighted...Look at the post about copyrights however I have RVP and can slow the speed up or down or frame by frame.
I see what he is saying and see some rotation or movement however it is not a yes/ no issue with me or what we teach. I see it more prevalent on some players more than others and at this point I agree to disagree and let the kids stats speak for it self as to what we teach and believe. Does it happen eventually? Yes! When it happens could it be the hitters style verses mechanics. Maybe it is how we teach what we think we see that is making the difference...when the heel is not down we see the front side opening to much and that in and of itself causes more problems especially on outside pitches. So we choose not to teach it and say rotate as needed and get the heel down as soon as possible based on spin, speed and pitch recognition. I have seen clips of Hank Arron that look like he was hitting like Charlie Lau Sr. taught, TSW, etc bottom line he put the ball in play pretty well...could you teach that exactly, probably not as there is a lot of style and ability involved that most people do not have. Look at Babe Ruth and tell me what you would teach and not teach.
