Good points, but I don't think you're saving money with the cost of cable (we pay $12 per month, which doesn't include the sports channels). Don't watch much tv in our house (unless you count the weather channel)

Many good points on this page. The first is spending time with your dd. But why waste your time inside when you can be out working with her on the field. Anyone can listen to a commentator and agree but when put on the field it is whole different ball game. I have seen girls who know the game inside and out tell you what to do in any situation and tell you how to field correctly, once in the game balls are bobbled, throws dropped etc. Howard K. gives drills and mechanics that allow coaches and parents to spend time with the girls not only learning,.... but doing!
