an update email came to me about the a OQM article in a Goshen paper... I read it only because the email had the article imbedded in the notification response from OFC. I'm sure my message may get yanked now...

OQM was complaining about taxes, how taxes are used, lack of funding for police, and getting ripped off... go figure...

Here is the deal. I rec an email from tim saying he is gonna make it right and that his lawyer can pay all the winners what they are owed minus $77.77 because two teams still have not paid him for the tourney. Supposedly if ALL COACHES AGREE to the option of taking this money and receiving the other 77 dollars at a later date his lawyer will dispense us a check. I just want to make sure all coaches received this email because the deal was we all had to agree. I see no reason why this thread would be closed or deleted. Im not on here trashing tim or anyone and i dont wanna hear the whole eligibility for ohio high school stuff either. Not looking for this thread to turn into that debate. i have made calls and done my research and im not worried about my girls or their eligibility. Im just trying to track down all the coaches who are still owed for this tourney.

Everyone has to agree with the deal? You have to accept less than you are entitled to? It has to all be through his lawyer instead of him? He's had over 3 months to right things, seems ballsy to me to only be willing to do it under these terms. What if you don't agree and you want all the money you are entitled to instead of agreeing to his rediculous terms?

I'm not sure why anyone should accept less than what they were rightfully entitled to, other than to just put this whole sordid affair to rest. It sure would be interesting to hear his side of the story on how this got to be what it is.

I mean really, he is able to be a guest columnist in the newspaper, but won't get on here and be accountable for his tournaments. With how many thousands of posts, and he just evaporates suddenly. Seems like hiding to me.

supposedly he has a civil case against the last two teams that havent paid and once he gets the money then we will get the final 77.77 . A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush at this point. I cant see how any of the coaches would turn down getting most of the money that they havent been able to get and only have to wait on 77 bucks. I know 522 would help my team get new jerseys more than 0 would. its not right but its a no brainer at this point. maybe its more scams but i want to make sure i know if someone actually doesnt agree or if we all played along before my lawyer moves forward with a civil case.
