I don't see anyone trashing Tammy, only defending Alana.

Tell the whole truth.. Tammy is more than just my girlfriend. I know 2 students that have left Alana because she is known to cancel lessons. Its ashame those familie arent on here. I never said anything bad about Alana Just said I think Tammy is better. Not because she is my other half but because I have seen her work and the magic she does with the ' lack of pitching staff ' I have with the Fire. I think Alana is good and deserves her props for what she did in HS. Tammy won 2 state titles. Her #'s dont lie either! Whos to say that what Alana teaches doesnt work for one kid but what Tammy teaches does. IS HERE IS MY ANSWER!! BOOK A LESSON WITH BOTH AND LET YOUR DD DECIDE WHO SHE LIKES AND IS MORE COMFORTABLE WITH! CALL THEM BOTH TONIGHT

Why do you feel you have to attack someone else instead of supporting who you feel is best. I know people who would say Larry Suba, other would say Bill Hillhouse, I personally like Jerry Goodpasture.

Brittany Mullen Is a pitching coach who works In Akron, she is a coach And Instructor who trained with Doug Finch and Jennie Finch. She was also heavily recruited by Division 1 colleges.
I know she's an excellent pitching coach and mentor to young women, because my "00" DD has been one of her students for about a year, went from throwing one pitch to throwing five different pitches confidently, working on a sixth. Throws In the low to mid 50's.
Teaches the same mechanics Jennie Finch was taught by Her father, based on the biomechanics of Dr. Sherry L. Werner.
These pitching mechanics have been tested at the highest level in Fastpitch softball.

Please shut this thread down. My two daughters have gone to Alanna for awhile & we are very pleased with her. Never cancelled. She works extremely hard for all of her clients & I hate to see this Billy07 guy try to put her down.

No need to shut anything down here. Alanna's reputation will grow and flourish as her students excel during school and tournament ball. This is how it works, IMHO: you watch a game, there is a pitcher out on the mound who has confidence, throws well, frustrates hitters, and most of all "looks strong". So you ask around, " who is that girl's pitching coach?" Then someone will say, "Oh, she is another one of those "******" students, or, "she goes to "**********".
This scenario repeats itself. That's how my DD ended up with the coach she has now. It sounds like Alanna has or will get that reputation too. It won't take long.

Just went to see Alanna last night and came away very impressed. We love her personality and my daughter really likes her.

Plus, my daughter has a little of an old school pitching style, which happens to be the same style that Alanna was taught and had success doing. The fact that my kid is built similiar to Alanna and Alanna threw 65mph, encourages my daughter to not worry that she is not going to be 6ft 200lbs. She picked up on everything that we need worked on and did not know how to fix ourselves, without us having to tell her what we needed. We have looked for quite a while to find a coach that would work with her style and not rework everything.

We plan on going back as soon as we can work out a schedule.

Gotta thank this posting for getting us to Alanna!
